APRIL 21: Sustainability Showcase & Focus the Nation on Climate Change

In January, 2008, over 600 people attended our Focus the Nation teach-in on climate change solutions. Similar efforts happened that day on 1650 campuses nationwide. Now we are organizing a second teach-in, in conjunction with Syracuse Showcase on April 21 and Earth Day on April 22, 2009. It will feature:

Teach-In on Climate
Change Solutions

Life Sciences Classrooms

Small-group discussions with faculty experts about reducing the magnitude and impacts of climate change. Topics include technology, science, economics, communications, environmental justice, the arts, and more.

1 - 2 pm
Lunchtime Learning: The True Cost of Food
011 Life Sciences
Graduate students lead a discussion about the environmental and social costs of our food choices. Lunch is free: Registration required. More information HERE.
